  • Full ($325.00)
    A physician who has been certified by the American Board of Medical Toxicology and/or by the Sub-Board in Medical Toxicology of the American Board of Medical Specialties. All members in good standing shall have the right to vote, and be eligible to be Directors and Officers.
  • Associate ($75.00)
    A physician who is licensed to practice medicine in their respective country, who has successfully completed a residency training program in a primary medical specialty, and who is enrolled in or has completed a training program in medical toxicology. Associate members shall pay reduced dues and shall enjoy all the privileges of membership except that they shall not have the right to vote or to hold office or become Fellows. Associate membership shall be limited to a maximum of six years, unless an extension is granted by the Membership Committee and approved by the Board.
  • Resident ($25.00)
    Physicians who are currently enrolled in a training program in any medical specialty are eligible to become Resident Members. Resident members shall pay reduced dues and enjoy all of the privileges of membership except that they shall not have the right to vote, hold office or become Fellows. Resident membership will be limited by the duration of the individual's training program. A print subscripton to the Journal of Medical Toxicology (JMT) can be added for an additional $50.00.
  • Medical Student ($0.00)
    Medical students enrolled in a medical school are eligible to become Medical Student Members. These members shall enjoy all of the privileges of membership except that they shall not have the right to vote, hold office or become Fellows. Medical student membership will be limited by the duration of the individual's training program. There is no membership fee for medical students. A print subscripton to the Journal of Medical Toxicology (JMT) can be added for $50.00.
  • International - Developing Countries ($50.00)
    The Developing Countries special membership rate is available to toxicologists in countries defined as low and lower-middle income by the World Bank. This enables these toxicologists, for whom the cost of membership is outside of their means, to access toxicology resources and network with colleagues from around the world. A print subscripton to the Journal of Medical Toxicology (JMT) can be added for an additional $50.00 USD.
  • International - Developed Countries ($200.00)
    A physician who is licensed to practice medicine in countries outside the United States, who practices medical toxicology as a substantial portion of their professional activities. Prospective International Members shall be considered by the Membership Committee, and must be approved by the Board of Directors. International members shall pay reduced dues, and shall enjoy all the privileges of membership except that they shall not have the right to vote or to hold office. A print subscription to the Journal of Medical Toxicology (JMT) is included.
  • Affiliate ($200.00)
    Licensed U.S. physicians who have an interest in medical toxicology and non-physicians who have a doctorate-level degree or ABAT certification and work in a field related to medical toxicology are eligible to become Affiliate Members. Affiliate members shall pay reduced dues, and enjoy all the privileges of membership except that they shall not have the right to vote, to hold office or to become Fellows.
