For over a year ACMT has been planning the 4th ACMT-Israeli Society of Toxicology Conference scheduled for November 7-9, 2023 at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. Working closely with our Israel colleagues and ACMT members Ophir Lavon and Yael Lurie, an outstanding program was developed featuring American, Canadian, Israeli and other International medical toxicologists. The American delegation was preparing to depart for Israel in three weeks. 
 
Given the horrific events of the last few days, with a heavy heart, the ACMT and Israeli organizers were compelled to postpone the conference to more peaceful times.  

We condemn the hostage-taking and murder of Israeli citizens, and others from numerous countries, and hope for a world where Israelis and Palestinians can enjoy freedom, democracy, and prosperity.
