I would like to express my utmost appreciation to the Medical Toxicology Foundation (MTF) for choosing me as the recipient of the 2024 Michael P. Spadafora Clinical Toxicology Travel Award. I know there were many highly qualified applicants, and I will remain grateful to those on the board that elected me to represent this prestigious award. The travel award allowed me to fly to and stay at the conference center for the entire duration of the 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting, which would not have been possible without the generous support of the ACMT and its many members. I was also able to use the award to fund my poster presentation. Throughout the conference I met and networked with fellowship directors, their fellows, and other members of the ACMT, making relationships and memories that will carry me through fellowship and beyond, as well as enjoyed the top-quality programming provided by the conference. This experience solidified my resolve to pursue a toxicology fellowship, and it inspired me to continue my contributions to toxicology research throughout residency and fellowship. My hope is to attend future ACMT annual meetings, and to eventually contribute to the foundation in order to give back the gift that was awarded to me. Thank you to the board and all of its members for this opportunity, without which I would not have been able to attend this conference.
