RFP Submission Deadline: January 6, 2025

Join ACMT at #NACCT2025! We are now accepting proposals for the ACMT activities at the 2025 North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology (NACCT): ACMT Practice Symposium, ACMT Scientific Symposium, and the ACMT FIT Visiting Professor Lecture. The deadline for all proposal submissions is January 6, 2025. Applicants will be notified whether they have been selected to participate in the forum via email in February 2025.

2025 NACCT is an in-person meeting without virtual options for speakers. Therefore, proposals for speakers who are local to the conference location or include ACMT Members who will already be present at NACCT will be given special consideration.

For questions please write to ACMT Sr. Education Program Manager, Adrienne Dunavin, at adrienne.dunavin@acmt.net.

ACMT Practice Symposium

The ACMT Practice Symposium is a 60-minute session focused on clinical practice development, career advancement, and expanding the field of medical toxicology. The format is typically lectures, with the option for panel discussions. The planning committee seeks proposals with a general topic and suggested speakers.

ACMT Scientific Symposium

The ACMT Scientific Symposium is a 60-minute session focused on new scientific advancements in medical toxicology, often with an emphasis on basic science. The format typically includes lectures, with the option for panel discussions if time permits. The planning committee seeks proposals with a general topic and suggested speakers.

ACMT FIT Visiting Professor Lecture

CPC Submission Deadline: June 1, 2025

ACMT announces the 26th Clinical Pathological Case (CPC) Presentation Competition in association with the 2025 North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology (NACCT).

ACMT invites you to submit challenging poisoning cases for the 26th CPC competition. Submissions should be prepared as unknown cases for another CPC participant to solve. In return, you will receive a similarly complex case to present a differential diagnosis, educate the audience, and, ideally, solve. An ACMT educational sub-committee will select the top three submissions for the competition.

We welcome submissions from outside Toxicology Fellowship programs. Cases can be submitted by any academic toxicology mentor/mentee team, provided the senior member (CPC Discussant) is an ACMT Member with an academic supervisory role. The senior member should be an Attending Physician in a Toxicology Fellowship or a related Residency program, while the junior member (CPC Presenter) can be a Fellow, Resident, or healthcare colleague. Junior members are often from Tox, EM, Peds, Occ Med, or Pharm, but can come from any specialty, as long as they are submitting a toxicology-related case with an ACMT Member.

For questions about the CPC or to determine if your case is a good fit, please contact Dr. Jeff Suchard at jsuchard@hs.uci.edu.

How to Apply

Follow the guidelines of the application and submit to Dr. Jeff Suchard at jsuchard@hs.uci.edu by June 1, 2025.

Early submissions are encouraged, and we are accepting proposals now! We look forward to reviewing your case.
