ACMT Recent Graduate Section Leadership Change
ACMT would like to thank Michael Darracq, Katherine Katzung, and Derrick Lung for their service as Co-Chairs of the ACMT Recent Graduates Section. Under their leadership the Professional Development for Recent Grads webpage was created. This contains important resources including job postings, the ACMT Mentorship program, and more. We invite all ACMT members to benefit from these resources!
ACMT is excited to welcome the new Co-Chairs of the ACMT Recent Graduates Section, Ryan Marino, MD, Brian Patrick Murray, DO, and Sarah Shafer, MD.
Ryan Marino, MD completed Emergency Medicine residency and Medical Toxicology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh (2017,2019). He currently works at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Drug & Poison Information Center, and is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Brian Patrick Murray, DO completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in 2014 and his Medical Toxicology fellowship at Emory University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2019. He is currently a staff physician at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Weight State Boonshoft School of Medicine.
Sarah Shafer, MD is a faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She is active on Twitter @toxiferoustales and is a contributor for The Tox and The Hound.
