Dr. Sara H. Goza, President of the American Academy of Pediatrics will be the featured speaker  for a November 4th webinar offered by the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT.)  Dr. Goza will address the topic of rising rates of COVID-19 infections among children and teens and recommend ways to keep families and communities safe as in-person classes resume. 

October 28, 2020 — Coronavirus is increasingly infecting children and teens. Some say the trend is driven by school reopenings and the resumption of sports, play dates, and other activities.  Children of all ages now make up about 11% of all U.S cases - with twice as many teens infected as younger children. 

Wednesday, November 4, at 3:00 pm ET The American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT)  will offer a free webinar on the topic of children and schools in the context of the COVID-19  pandemic featuring Dr. Sara H. Goza, President of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).  Dr. Goza will present the latest information on children and COVID-19, and recommend ways to keep children and communities safe as in-person classes resume.
