Trevonne Thompson, MD, FACMT Board Member (Term 1: 2023-2026)

Biography

Dr. Thompson is a tenured professor of emergency medicine and medical toxicology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine where he is the head of the Division of Medical Toxicology within the Department of Emergency Medicine. He is an associate program director for the Toxikon Consortium Medical Toxicology fellowship program in Chicago, IL, and he's also the Dean for Admissions at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

He has a longstanding dedication to the American College of Medical Toxicology. He first joined the ACMT when he entered fellowship training in 2005 and has since been an active member of the College. He's served on several committees and has led, or co-led, ACMT initiatives. Dr. Thompson also serves as the associate editor in charge of the Journal of Medical Toxicology Fellow-in-Training Program.
